How RELIQ works
Everything you need to create, observe and collect artifacts, in plain words. If you build on RELIQ, the technical reference is at the end.
The quantum story
An artifact is a coin with its art sealed inside the chain itself. Its picture, sound or page does not live on a website that might disappear one day. It lives in the chain, for as long as the chain exists.
We describe each artifact's life with four ideas from quantum physics. They are not decoration. Each one is a rule the chain enforces, and you can check every one of them yourself.
Measurement
Recording an artifact seals it. After that, it can never change.
Superposition
Its traits stay undecided, every possibility at once, until someone looks.
Observation
The first person to observe it fixes its traits for everyone, forever.
Certification
Its record is signed in a way built for the age of quantum computers.
Create an artifact
Name your coin
Pick a name and a short ticker, and add a few words about it if you like.
Add its art
An image, a sound, a small interactive page or a piece of text.
Confirm in your wallet
You pay a small creation fee of 2 USDG, then approve the upload. Large files take a few confirmations.
It is sealed
Your art is written into the chain and sealed twice. It begins its life in superposition.
Superposition and observation
A newly sealed artifact has four traits that do not exist yet. Nobody can know how they will turn out, not even the person who made it, because they depend on a moment in the chain that has not happened yet.
A few seconds later, anyone can press Observe. That one look settles all four traits at once, fairly and for good. The person who looked first is remembered on the artifact's page. Usually this happens on its own within seconds.
Traits
Every observed artifact has one value in each of these four traits:
Epoch
Planck, Inflation, Quark, Hadron, Photon, Stellar, Archaic
Material
Obsidian, Quartz, Bismuth, Meteorite, Gold Leaf, Glass, Graphene
Rarity
Trace (most common), Shard, Prism, Halo and Eigen (rarest, about 1 in 50)
Phase
Coherent, Resonant, Tunneled, Entangled-ready, Decoherent
Traits are for collecting and display only. They never change a coin's price, fees or anything you can own.
Trading and resonance
Every coin can be bought and sold from the moment it launches. The price rises as more people buy and falls as they sell. Each trade has a 1% fee: half goes to the coin's creator and half to the RELIQ treasury.
Resonance shows how close a coin is to graduating. To keep things fair, one wallet can buy up to 1,000 USDG of any single coin.
Graduation
When a coin reaches full resonance, it graduates. It moves to Uniswap at the same price it last traded at, so nobody is caught out by a jump, and its liquidity is locked there forever. Nobody, including us, can ever pull it out.
You can keep trading a graduated coin right here. The trade panel switches to its Uniswap pool and sends your trade through Uniswap's official router. The first time, your wallet asks for two approvals (Uniswap's Permit2 contract, then the router for 30 days). The pool charges 1% per trade, shared by the creator and the platform, and the creator can collect their share on their profile.
Entanglement
Two artifacts can be entangled when both of their creators agree: one invites, the other accepts. The bond is permanent and each artifact can have only one partner. It is a mark of connection and nothing more: no money moves, and no price, fee, trait or reward changes.
Swap any token
The Swap page trades any token on Robinhood Chain at Uniswap prices. Routes come from Uniswap, your wallet signs every step, and the trade goes to Uniswap's official router. RELIQ never holds your tokens and takes no fee. Tokens there are not checked by RELIQ: anyone can create a token with any name, so check the address before you trade.
Stock Tokens are tokenized debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited. They may not be offered or sold in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or to persons there, and they give no rights in the underlying shares. They are blocked on this site for visitors from those countries, and you must confirm the notice before trading them.
Quantum Certificate
Today's digital signatures could one day be forged by powerful quantum computers. Each artifact can carry a certificate signed with a newer kind of signature, standardised to resist those machines. It records who created the artifact, the art itself and, once observed, its traits.
You can check any certificate in your own browser on the Verify page. It takes a few seconds and does not rely on us.
Echoes and nominations
An Echo is a short public message left on an artifact, up to 280 characters. You can sign it with your wallet so everyone can see it really came from you. Echoes are kept by this site rather than on the chain.
If a coin has no art yet, you can nominate it to let its creator know people want to see it enshrined.
Artifact of the day
Every day the Vault picks one artifact to feature. The choice follows a fixed public rule, so it cannot be bought or arranged, and anyone can check it.
The Singularity
Every launch feeds the Singularity. Creation fees and the treasury's share of trading fees gather in a shared treasury. From time to time, its keepers use them to buy $RELIQ and remove it from circulation forever. This site never moves the funds itself: every step is approved by the treasury's signers in their own wallets.
What we promise, and what we do not
We promise
- Sealed art can never be changed or removed.
- Traits are decided fairly, and nobody knows them in advance.
- Liquidity of a graduated coin stays locked forever.
- You can check all of this yourself.
We do not claim
- That anything here runs on a quantum computer. Quantum is our way of describing how artifacts behave.
- That your wallet or the chain is safe from quantum computers. They use today's cryptography.
- That the code has been audited. It has not been yet.
- That any coin will hold value. Meme coins are speculative, and nothing here is financial advice.
Questions
Can I add art to a coin launched somewhere else?
No. Only coins launched here can become artifacts, and only their creator can add the art.
Can I change the art later?
Only before it is sealed. Once sealed, it can never change, not even by you.
Who can observe an artifact?
Anyone. The result is the same no matter who presses Observe.
What if nobody observes it?
It happens on its own within seconds. If that moment passes, anyone can prepare a new one and observe again.
Do traits affect the price?
No. They are for collecting and display only.
Are Echoes stored on the chain?
No. They are kept by this site. Signed Echoes carry your wallet's signature so anyone can check who wrote them.
For developers
The technical reference behind the guide above. You do not need any of this to create or collect artifacts.
Storage and seals
Media is stored as contract bytecode (SSTORE2), split into fragments of up to 24,575 bytes, each prefixed with a 0x00 STOP byte. Enshrining reads every fragment back inside the transaction and recomputes SHA-256 (precompile) and Keccak-256 (opcode); it reverts if either differs from the declared digest. An enshrined artifact has no write path. SHA3-512 is not computed on-chain; it is part of the certificate.
Read with read(token), dataURI(token), or directly with eth_getCode on each fragment, dropping the first byte.
Observation seed
Enshrining sets observeBlock a few L2 blocks ahead (ArbSys block numbers on Robinhood Chain). After it, anyone may call observe(token):
seed = keccak256(abi.encode(l2BlockHash(observeBlock), token, sha256Digest, chainid))
The caller is not part of the seed. If the 256-block window passes, observe re-arms with a new future block. A keeper observes promptly. Block hashes come from the sequencer, which could in theory influence them; traits are therefore cosmetic only. Rarity weights: Trace 50%, Shard 27%, Prism 15%, Halo 6%, Eigen 2%. The artifact of the day is sha256("reliq-epoch/1:" + YYYY-MM-DD) mod n over artifacts enshrined before 00:00 UTC, sorted by address.
Verify from any RPC
# 1. Read the raw bytes cast call 0x80B013b2390a1d604054c2A2FD4EB10508DdA4Fd \ "read(address)(bytes)" <TOKEN> --rpc-url https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com \ | xxd -r -p > artifact.bin # 2. Read the on-chain record (includes both digests) cast call 0x80B013b2390a1d604054c2A2FD4EB10508DdA4Fd \ "artifact(address)((address,uint64,uint64,uint32,uint32,bytes32,bytes32,string,string,address[],uint64,uint64,bytes32,address))" \ <TOKEN> --rpc-url https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com # 3. Recompute sha256sum artifact.bin cast keccak "0x$(xxd -p artifact.bin | tr -d '\n')"
Certificates (reliq-cert/1) are signed with ML-DSA-65 (NIST FIPS 204). Public key: /api/certificates/key. Certificate: /api/certificates/<token>. The server refuses to sign unless the bytes it read match both on-chain digests.
Curve and graduation
One constant-product bonding curve with a 600 USDG virtual reserve and a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens per coin. Ascension at 2,400 USDG raised (net of fees). graduate(token) is permissionless: liquidity goes to a Uniswap V4 pool (1% fee, full range, no hooks) opened at the curve's last price; tokens that do not fit are burned. The position is held by a locker with no withdraw path; collectFees(token) is permissionless and splits fees like trading fees. Before graduation, tokens cannot be transferred to the V4 PoolManager. Trade fee 1% (0.5% creator, 0.5% treasury). Per-wallet lifetime buy cap 1,000 USDG per coin. There is no global cap on the USDG held by the curve on this network. After graduation the site trades through the official Uniswap Universal Router and Permit2.
Entanglement contract
propose(token, other) and accept(token, other) may only be called by creatorOf(token); both tokens must be enshrined. A pair forms only when one creator's open proposal is accepted by the other creator, is symmetric (pairOf) and can never be changed. withdraw(token) cancels an open proposal. The contract has no owner, holds no funds and has no payable functions.
Costs and limits
- Creation fee 2 USDG.
- File size: up to 1,024,000 bytes in this interface, 1,048,576 bytes in the contract.
- Up to about 80,000 bytes in one inscribe transaction; larger files in parts of 73,725 bytes.
- Measured gas: about 9.8M to enshrine 1 MiB; about 17.8M per 73,725-byte part.
- Meta JSON up to 2,048 bytes; mime up to 100 bytes.
